Let's push the door and enter this strange living museum. it is devoted to someone who uses it all at the same time as an alchemist's lab, an analyst's practice and a reading room. Here are gathered according to an obsessive sense of rigor all kind of collectibles - with a slightly questionable sense of erudition. Theses on extinct species arise in the most extravagant way along with theories on myths from the dawn of time and on mental disorders... Like in a symphonic poem, the twelve pieces in this cabinet are as many rarities and obscure speculations.
As in a dream, the cabinet de curiosités stirs up again the welter of ideas that was the turn of the twentieth century, when in an artistic clatter would collide a dark version of romanticism in its final jolt, symbolism, esoterism and the new-born psychanalysis. An «invitation au voyage».


Poussons la porte d’un étrange musée personnel, à la fois laboratoire d’alchimie, cabinet d’analyste et salon de lecture. Ici l’on collectionne toutes sortes de bizarreries classées dans une rigueur obsessionnelle et une érudition un peu douteuse. On y formule les théories les plus extravagantes sur les espèces disparues, les mythes immémoriaux ou les désordres de l’esprit... à la manière d’un poème orchestral, les douze pièces qui constituent ce cabinet sont autant d’objets singuliers et d’obscures spéculations.
Le cabinet de curiosités est une évocation rêvée du fourmillement artistique du tournant du siècle dernier où venaient s’entrechoquer les ultimes soubresauts d’un sombre romantisme, le symbolisme, l'ésotérisme, et les débuts de la psychanalyse. une invitation au voyage.
